Synopsis
The second season of the anime Aldnoah Zero.
The discovery of the hypergate on the Moon has made humanity move to Mars. Those who choose to settle on Mars, find technology that is far more advanced than their home planet, the Earth, they call "Aldnoah." This discovery led to the establishment of the Vers Empire on Mars and the emergence of a declaration of war against "Terrans," people who live on Earth. However, the battle on the moon, which was later called "Heaven-Fall" made the hypergate explode, and destroyed the moon and made two planets to do an unwanted truce.
Peace between the two planets is actually fragile. Fifteen years later, a high school student named Inaho Kaizuka witnesses the assassination plan of Vers Princess of the Vers Empire, the Allusia Asseylum Vers, the daughter of the Vers kingdom coming to Earth in hopes of improving relations between the two parties. The ceasefire agreement disappeared, and once again Mars declared war on Terran. In dealing with this problem, now Inaho and his friends have to fight against the Vers Empire to complete the war for all.

Penemuan hypergate di Bulan telah menciptakan umat insan berpindah ke Mars. Mereka yang menentukan untuk menetap di Mars, menemukan teknologi yang jauh lebih maju daripada planet asal mereka ialah Bumi, teknologi tersebut mereka namakan “Aldnoah.” Penemuan ini mengakibatkan berdirinya Kekaisaran Vers di Mars dan munculnya deklarasi perang melawan “Terrans,” orang-orang yang tinggal di Bumi. Kesepakatan gencatan senjata pun sirna, dan sekali lagi Mars menyatakan perang terhadap Terran. Dalam menghadapi dilema ini, ketika ini Inaho dan teman-temannya harus berjuang melawan Kekaisaran Vers untuk menuntaskan perang demi semuanya.
